When you get your money back.

Booking a doctor shouldn't feel like booking an airline. Here's exactly how rescheduling, cancellation, and refunds work at everydaymd, written to be read, with no fine-print games.

Effective date: July 11, 2026

The short version: You can reschedule or cancel any visit free of charge up to 24 hours before it starts. The membership is month-to-month. Cancel anytime by email or phone and you won't be billed again. And if we fail you (wrong state, our technology breaks, your clinician can't make it), you get a full refund. Everything below is that promise, spelled out.

This policy covers the only two things we ever charge for: the $149 single visit and the $99/month membership. That's the whole of it. There is nothing else on your bill from us. It's part of our Terms of Service, and it applies to every patient the same way. If anything here is unclear, call us at (412) 407-3389 and we'll walk you through it.

Single visits: $149

When you book a single visit, the $149 fee is charged at booking. That's not a deposit trick. It's how we reserve a physician's time for you, which is the thing you're actually buying.

  • Reschedule or cancel free, up to 24 hours before. Email support@everydaymd.health or call (412) 407-3389 any time up to 24 hours before your visit. Rescheduling costs nothing; cancelling gets you a full refund. No forms, no fee, no questions you don't want to answer.
  • Inside 24 hours, or if you don't show up, the fee is non-refundable. By then your doctor has held that time for you and prepared for your visit, and it's too late to offer it to someone else. We'd rather be upfront about this than surprise you.
  • If the visit fails on our end, the choice is yours. If our technology breaks or your clinician becomes unavailable, that's our problem, not yours: take a full refund or a free rebooking at a time that suits you, whichever you prefer.

Running late? Call us. It's the fastest way to sort it out.

Membership: $99 a month

The membership is month-to-month. There is no contract, no minimum term, and no cancellation fee. Here's how the billing actually works:

  • Your first charge happens at signup and includes your initial physician visit, along with the rest of that month's membership benefits.
  • It renews monthly until you cancel. Each month, $99 is charged to your payment method on file. It keeps renewing until you tell us to stop, so we're telling you plainly, here, before you sign up.
  • Cancel anytime by email or phone. Write to support@everydaymd.health or call (412) 407-3389. That's the whole process. No retention specialist, no "are you sure?" gauntlet, no hoops.
  • Billing stops at your next cycle. When you cancel, you won't be charged again, and your access continues through the end of the month you've already paid for. You lose nothing you paid for.

Refunds that are on us

Some situations are simply our responsibility. The refund is full, and you don't have to argue for it:

  • No clinician is licensed to treat you in your state. If it turns out your care can't legally be provided where you live, you get a full refund. Full stop.
  • Your visit cannot be completed on our end. Platform failure, clinician unavailability, anything that's ours: full refund, or a free rebooking if you'd rather, as described above.

What isn't refundable

We think you'll find this list short and fair:

  • Completed visits. A visit fee pays for a physician's time, evaluation, and honest judgment. That's true even when the honest judgment is "this treatment isn't right for you." Telling you no is part of the medicine you paid for, not a failure to deliver it.
  • Cancellations inside 24 hours and no-shows, as covered above.

How to request a refund

Email support@everydaymd.health or call (412) 407-3389, and include the name and email you booked with (plus the EMD reference code from your confirmation screen or email, if you have it) so we can find you quickly. Refunds go back to your original payment method and are processed through Stripe, our payment processor. They typically arrive within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank. If one seems to be taking longer, tell us and we'll chase it.

If we disagree

Talk to us first. Honestly, we'd rather refund a borderline case than fight a fair one, and most billing questions are resolved in a single email or phone call. Disputing a charge through your card issuer is always your right, but it's slower for you and it doesn't come with a person who can actually fix the problem. We can.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date. A change never applies retroactively to a visit you've already booked or a month you've already paid for. You get the terms you agreed to.
