Our terms, in plain English.

This is the agreement that governs your use of everydaymd: what we do, what it costs, how the membership renews, and how to cancel. The summary comes first. The full terms follow, written to be read.

Effective date: July 11, 2026

The short version: You must be 18 or older and living in the United States to use everydaymd. We are not for emergencies. Call 911, or call or text 988 if you're in crisis. A single visit is $149. The membership is $99 a month and renews automatically each month until you cancel, which you can do anytime by emailing support@everydaymd.health or calling (412) 407-3389. Your visit fee pays for a clinician's time and judgment. It never pays for medication, and a prescription or a particular outcome is never guaranteed. That's the heart of it; the details are below.

1. Who we are, and what these terms cover

"everydaymd" is the trade name of [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] (referred to in these terms as "everydaymd," "we," "us," or "our"), based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and everydaymd. They govern your use of everydaymd.health (the "Site") and the services available through it. By visiting the Site, booking a visit, or joining the membership, you agree to these Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, HIPAA Notice, and Telehealth Consent, each of which is part of the deal. If you don't agree, please don't use the services.

2. What everydaymd does

everydaymd arranges telehealth consultations (private video visits) between you and independent, licensed clinicians. The Site itself does two practical things: it helps you schedule those visits, and it processes payment for them. The medicine happens in the visit, between you and your clinician.

All clinical decisions belong to the clinician who evaluates you, exercising independent professional judgment: whether to treat you, how, and when to refer you elsewhere. everydaymd does not engage in the prescribing or dispensing of medication, and everydaymd never charges you for medication. What your care involves is a matter for you and your clinician.

3. Who can use everydaymd

To use everydaymd, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old. Minors are not treated here.
  • Be a resident of the United States, physically located in a U.S. state when you receive care.
  • Give us an accurate state when you book. Clinicians are matched to you based on where they're licensed, so the state you enter must be true. Misstating your location can invalidate your visit and may end your access to the services.
  • Provide accurate, current information about yourself (identity, contact details, and health history) and keep it up to date.

4. Not for emergencies

everydaymd is not an emergency service, and telehealth is the wrong tool for a crisis. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911. If you are in emotional distress or having thoughts of harming yourself, call or text 988, the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, right away. Do not wait for a scheduled visit, and do not use the Site or secure messaging to seek urgent help; messages are not monitored around the clock.

5. No guarantee of prescription or outcome

When you book a visit, you are paying for a licensed clinician's time, evaluation, and honest professional judgment. You are not purchasing a medication or a particular result. Whether any treatment is prescribed is entirely up to the clinician who evaluates you. If something isn't right for you, your clinician won't prescribe it. That's the practice's founding promise, and it's also a term of this agreement.

Some categories of care carry stricter state and federal rules, and may require additional identity verification or, in some cases, an in-person evaluation before a clinician can proceed. Your clinician follows the law that applies where you are physically located, and will tell you plainly when telehealth is not the right setting for what you need. Medicine also comes with no warranties: individual results vary, and no outcome is promised or implied by anything on the Site.

6. Fees, payment, and automatic renewal

Our pricing is simple, and it's the same for everyone:

  • Single visit: $149, charged when you book. This is a one-time fee covering your private video visit, evaluation, and personalized plan.
  • Membership: $99 per month, month to month. It includes your initial visit, ongoing video visits, unlimited secure messaging with your care team, plan reviews by your clinician, and priority scheduling. It does not include medication of any kind.

Payments are processed by Stripe, a third-party payment processor. Your card details go directly to Stripe over an encrypted connection. everydaymd never sees or stores your full card number. everydaymd charges for two things and two things only: visits and membership. Medication is never part of these fees, and everydaymd never charges you for medication. There are no other fees: no signup fee, no cancellation fee, no surprises.

Automatic renewal (please read): The everydaymd membership is a recurring subscription. By joining, you authorize us (through Stripe) to charge $99 to your payment method every month, automatically, until you cancel. There is no minimum term. To cancel, email support@everydaymd.health or call (412) 407-3389. Either one works, at any time, and we don't make you jump through hoops. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current monthly billing period: you will not be charged again, and your membership benefits continue through the period you've already paid for.

If a charge fails (for example, an expired card), we'll let you know so you can update your payment method; membership benefits may pause until payment goes through.

7. Refunds

The full details live in our Refunds & Cancellation policy, which is part of these Terms. In brief: visits cancelled or rescheduled more than 24 hours in advance cost you nothing. If care isn't available in your state, or your visit can't be completed because of a failure on our end, you receive a full refund. Cancellations inside 24 hours and missed appointments are non-refundable, because that reserved time can't be given to someone else. Membership payments already made are not refunded when you cancel, but you keep your benefits through the end of the paid period.

8. Scheduling, rescheduling, and cancelling visits

You may reschedule or cancel any visit free of charge up to 24 hours before its start time. Just email or call us. Inside that 24-hour window, and for no-shows, the visit fee is non-refundable. If we ever need to move your visit, or a technical failure on our side prevents it from happening, we'll reschedule you promptly or refund you in full. Your choice.

9. Acceptable use

We keep this simple. When you use everydaymd, you agree to:

  • Tell the truth. Give accurate, complete information about your identity, location, and health. Your clinician's judgment is only as good as what you share.
  • Use your own account only. Don't share your account, book visits for someone else under your name, or seek care on another person's behalf.
  • Use the services lawfully. Don't seek care under false pretenses, and don't use the Site in any way that violates state or federal law.
  • Leave the Site intact. Don't scrape, copy at scale, probe, or interfere with the Site's security or operation.

We may suspend or end access for violations of these Terms, particularly anything that puts your safety, a clinician's license, or another patient at risk.

10. Telehealth consent

Care at everydaymd is delivered by telehealth, and telehealth has its own benefits, limits, and risks: connection issues, the absence of a hands-on exam, and the possibility that your clinician determines you need in-person care. Our Telehealth Consent explains all of this, and it is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please read it before your first visit. By booking and receiving care through everydaymd, you accept it.

11. Intellectual property

The Site and everything on it (text, graphics, logos, page designs, and the everydaymd name and mark) belong to everydaymd or its licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You're welcome to view, download, and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. Republishing, selling, or building on our content requires our written permission first.

12. Medical disclaimer

Content on the Site (condition pages, FAQs, articles) is educational. It is general information, not medical advice, and reading it does not create a clinician–patient relationship. That relationship begins only when you complete a visit with a clinician. Never disregard professional medical advice, or delay seeking it, because of something you read here.

13. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

We work hard to keep the Site accurate, available, and secure, but no website is perfect. The Site and its scheduling and payment functions are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent the law allows. This section is about the website platform. It does not alter the professional obligations clinicians owe you under the law, and nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

To the fullest extent permitted by law: everydaymd will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or services; and our total liability for any claim relating to these Terms or the services will not exceed the amounts you paid to everydaymd in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some states do not allow certain limitations of warranties or damages, so some of the above may not apply to you.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to these Terms or the services will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Pennsylvania, and you consent to their jurisdiction. That said, if something has gone wrong, please contact us first. We would genuinely rather fix it than litigate it.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll post the revised version here with a new effective date at the top. If a change is material, especially anything affecting membership pricing or renewal, we'll notify members by email before it takes effect, with enough time to cancel if you disagree. Continuing to use the services after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

16. Severability, and the rest

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, that part will be trimmed to the minimum extent necessary and the rest will stay in force. If we don't enforce a provision on one occasion, that isn't a waiver. We can still enforce it later. These Terms, together with the policies they incorporate, are the entire agreement between you and everydaymd about the services.
